EuroLeague Basketball preview
The leading basketball continental competition EuroLeague is now in its 18th season, and this campaign is now in its second-half as teams play their 17th game. In total there will be 30 fixtures, with each team playing home and away against all opponents.
In the regular season, matches are on until 6th April, and after that the top eight teams will make it through to the play-offs, which is a best of five format. At the moment CSKA Moscow are in first place and they have won 12 times. This week they are up against Pallacanestro, who are from Milan, and they could do with a win after losing to Barcelona last week.
Tipbet is a varied sports betting company and for this game, as in every EuroLeague fixture, they have plenty of odds. Among the markets are to win the game and the Russian team are available to be backed at 1.25 to get a 13th victory. The Italians are at 4.00, though they are 15th and require a big improvement in results.
The Spanish team Barcelona face a tough game when they play against Panathinaikos – the Greek side are currently in third place. The match is in Greece and the home team have won 11 times to make a play-off place look very likely – another win is available at 1.45 and would keep them close to Olympiakos, who are a position in front. Barca, meanwhile, have won their past two EuroLeague matches and are 2.75 at Tipbet to make it three.
One of the most exciting games in the EuroLeague this week is between Saski Baskonia of Spain and Olympiakos due to how close the odds are with Tipbet. Saski are available at 1.80, which means that they are slightly more likely than their opponents, who are 2.05. The Spanish team have been in poor form recently, though a win over Valencia in domestic competition should give them belief. View the basketball match odds here.
