Manchester City vs Arsenal – massive match in the Premier League on Sunday
Pep Guardiola has been the manager of Manchester City for over a year now, and he has started both seasons very strongly. The Spaniard won the first seven matches last season and many people thought that his team would then win the Premier League trophy at his first attempt. After their strong start City ended up in third and though they qualified for the Champions League, they did not challenge for the trophy which was eventually won by Chelsea.
This season Guardiola and his squad have won nine of their first 10 games giving them 28 points and they also have a stronger team after a busy team. Manchester United are the nearest side to them and they are already having to chase down a five-point lead.
Looking at the sports bookmaker Tipbet.com, there are plenty of odds including season bets in the Premier League. Manchester City are 1.14 to finish in their current position, with United looking to win their first league title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired (6.75).
Arsenal are their opponents on Sunday, and they have not had a strong start to the new season. They will be looking to get back into the Champions League by finishing in the top four. They finished fifth last season and that was the first times that Arsene Wenger did not take them to the Champions League.
The London club have lost three games and they have just 19 points so they have to win on Sunday if the title is to remain a realistic target to aim for. After the two clubs meet, Manchester United are facing Chelsea, the champions.
For a great supply of odds for this game, check out Tipbet’s markets. Wenger is likely to play a different team to the one that plays in the Europa League and so they should be fresh in Manchester. They are 6.50 to get what would be a massive win for the London club. City are unbeaten so they are big favourites – they can be backed at 1.45, and a draw 5.25.
